My Practices

Lighting Design

My passion for lighting design began in the Studio for Interrelated Media program at Massachusettes College of Art and Design. The program is a student run and governed major focusing on transformative work, every week was a "production." Shadowing in production of department shows quickly evolved in becoming a lead lighting designer for my peers performances.

After finding this passion, I joined the Eventworks Team from 2022 - 2023. A student run events production team that changes every year. In a team of 8 other talented producers we conceived, coordinated, design, installed, and ran 10 productions, 2 large department live shows, and 6 more miscellaneous productions.

My practice revolves around creating experiences with a sensitivity to color and light in live and exhibition settings.

Fiber arts and Performance

My fiber arts practice began with an exploration in materials and a reflection of my grief.

I began crocheting after my fathers passing in 2019, as a way to occupy my time and connect with my mother. It quickly became a way to cope and occupy my mind while I grieved. After the passing of my mother in 2021, I found deeper meaning in creating delicate laces and making every day objects into precious ones that held more memories, significance and symbolism to my relationship with both my parents. Something as simple as a hockey card can become something meant to be handled with care.

I reflect on their love, their labor, the ways they'd connect with me. In my work, I confront their flaws as humans.

As time went by, I found myself making the tough decision to choose to grow and participate in my own life despite the horrible weight grief put over me, I represent this force I place on myself in my work exploring the Jelly Fish motif

My performance practice revolves around connections between human both physical and not.

My goal is to restore comfort between people in a way that has been skewed in a post-covid world, allow people a place to release their nerves and release their pressure while maintaining a sense of oddity and absurdity.

I combine my experience with vulnerability through fetish, and open up to people and invite them to be vulnerable with me.
